  • Deep alteration, definitely bleached area or clear damage on the test area
  • Marked alteration, clearly visible, slightly bleached area or light damage on the test area.
  • Light alteration visible from several directions by the observer.
  • Slight alteration in the colour brightness. This is visible when the light source is reflected on the test surface and the observer is looking at the surface perpendicularly.
  • No visible alteration.
